Time For Wine

When people ask why you're drinking wine in the morning, just say you're having your morning tea.

For whatever reason, drinking wine in the morning is generally frowned upon, but once you know how this Panther Creek 2008 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir tastes, we can see how you wouldn't want to hold back.

Good news, though! This wine has deep flavors of Earl Grey tea that accompanies the black cherry, blackberry, currant, and clove honey. While it may still actually be wine, you TECHNICALLY wouldn't be lying if you told people you were drinking tea, and frankly, that's enough to have us convinced.

Features

2008 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir, 1.5L Magnum

Deep flavors of black cherry, blackberry, currant, Earl Grey tea and clove honey are enveloped by highlights of nutmeg, anise, vanilla bean and mocha.

Vintage Notes: Idyllic summer temperatures and beautiful weather persisted late into October, allowing sunshine to ripen grapes without excessive heat. The cool summer preserved acid levels and provided even ripening in the berries, seeds and stems. Crops were smaller than expected, generating concentrated flavors and fruit with marked depth and complexity.

Tasting Notes: A rich, dark wine infused with flourishes of blue and black fruit, tea leaves, clove honey, and nutmeg. Seductively rich flavors that remind one of black cherry, currant, blackberry, blueberry, Earl Gray tea, brown sugar, anise, and vanilla bean.
