Triple Crème Brie, 8 oz
With a rich and smooth texture, slightly sweet flavor and blooming with fluffy white rind, Marin French Triple Crème Brie expresses the high quality milk from neighboring Marin County dairies. Crowned World Cheese Awards Champion in 2005 – the first time an American cheese topped the French in an International competition for Brie cheese. This remarkable 1st place honor was repeated in 2010.
Pair with California sparkling wine, Petite Syrah or IPA
Triple Crème Brie with Truffles, 1 lb
Our rich, smooth, award-winning Triple Crème Brie is specked with Urbani Italian Black Truffles for the irresistibly earthy aroma of mushrooms balanced with sweet milk. As it ripens, Triple Crème Brie with Truffles develops earthy mushroom flavor and creamy smoothness. Pair with California sparkling wine or Champagne.
Camembert, 8 oz
Marin French Camembert is complex, aromatic and creamy with a deep golden color and thin white rind. The flavor is robust with hints of mushroom. Camembert differs distinctly from Brie by the cultures used to produce Camembert’s authentic earthy flavor and flowing texture.
Pair with Unoaked California Chardonnay or Rhone Blend, Stout or Porter
Petite Supreme, 4 oz
The newest addition to the Marin French collection, Petite Supreme is a high butterfat, triple-crème cheese. Small-batch buckets are used during the make process, which allows for gentle stirring and cutting of the curds so a fluffy whipped-cream texture can be achieved.
After 9-14 days of aging, Petite Supreme develops a thin, snow white rind and a slightly firm yet lush interior. With an aroma of sweet milk, flavors are tangy with grassy and salty notes that develop as the cheese ages.
Pairing Suggestion: Petite Supreme shines bright when accompanied by a glass of Prosecco as the effervescence cuts through the butteriness. Fruity Pinot Noirs, hard ciders and wheat beers also pair very well with Petite Supreme’s tartness and luscious texture.

Marin French Cheese
- Location:
- Marin County, CA
It all started on a dairy farm…
1865. The Civil War was drawing to an end, railroads connected east and west, European immigrants were settling in Marin County to farm the lush coastal land.
And, at his West Marin dairy farm, Jefferson Thompson made deliciously fresh cheese using the milk from his dairy cows. Thompson would then ship it by schooner to the hungry dockworkers in San Francisco. He soon gained renown for his European style cheeses – soft-ripened Brie, Camembert and a simple treat called Breakfast Cheese – and founded a creamery that would eventually be known as Marin French Cheese.
Today, nearly 150 years later, Marin French Cheese operates in the same location, making us the longest continually operating cheese company in America. We still create the same classic styles of Brie and Camembert using only the freshest milk from neighboring family dairies. We continue to craft cheese in small batches using traditional cultures coaxing the distinctly coastal California character and flavor into every cheese.
