The wine presents aromas of plum, ripe blackberries and campfire and flavors of cherries, pralines and coffee with cream. Delicious, rich, big and pretty with a long juicy finish, this Reserve has exceeded even Lang Wines' own high expectations.

Bursting with cherry, pomegranate, and mint aromas, rich, well-structured and silky smooth this wine is drinking beautifully right now.
 
2007 Barbera, Amador County, Oakmont Vineyards 750ml
 
It is said that winemakers agree on almost nothing. But, when given a choice of wines, they inevitably reach for the Barbera. Originally from the northwest regions of Italy, Barbera produces a comfortable wine, one that is, simply put, pleasant. This 2007 Barbera comes from the same Oakmont vineyard that produces their formidable Zinfandels. Smooth and delicious, its aromas are of vanilla, bacon and raspberry together with hints of cranberry, campfire and mint, all leading to a palate of blueberry jam, cocoa and toast with a juicy even zippy finish. The most food-friendly of red wines, Barbera pairs well with just about anything…but it certainly “sings” for Italian.
 
2008 Barbera, Amador County, Oakmont Vineyards 750ml
 
This wine is deep ruby-red, rich, smooth, well-structured and fruit-filled with an earthy undertone. Aromas are of vanilla, cherry cola and ripe fruit leading to flavors of blackberry with a hint of citrus and cinnamon. Silky tannins provide structure and a bright toasty finish. It is stressful to wait at harvest-time, but consistent award-winning Barberas are the reward for that attention and patience.
 
2007 Lang Wines Syrah 750ml
 
The 2007 Amador County Syrah is a classic California Table Wine. Rich, ripe and very well balanced, its firm texture expresses aromas of chocolate and cranberries with the slightest hint of iodine. On the palate, the wine reveals ripe berry and coffee flavors with just the right amount of tannin. The finish is elegant with a touch of pepper and leather. Proof once again that Amador County may just be California’s own little Rhone Valley.
 
2010 Lang Wine Zinfandel, Amador County 750ml

The 2010 Lang Amador County Zinfandel is a classic composition of ripe red fruit, pepper and spice that one would expect from this historic, high elevation region. Crafted in a manner that emphasizes complexity and drinkability, with layered aromas of raspberry, chocolate, and violets that introduce a palate of strawberry, red licorice, and a dash of spice.  The finish is pleasing and long lasting.  A wonderful companion to classic American fare as well as pizzas and pasta dishes.
