Judd's Hill 2010 Napa Valley Rosé 750ml 4-Pack
This Rosé has a beautiful balance of berry sweetness and textured minerality, making it one of Judd's Hill's most popular wines. The Cabernet in their 2010 vintage was vinified using the Saigneé method, in which a small amount of juice is “bled off,” or separated from the skins, after about twelve hours of contact. This juice is then fermented separately, without further skin contact, producing a brighter, fruitier style. For balance, they vinified their Merlot grapes using the standard Rosé method of crushing the grapes and pressing the juice from skins after six hours of contact.
One of the great things about Rosé is its food-pairing versatility. From spicy BBQ dishes and fiery south Asian cuisine to fruit-accented fresh summer salads and seafood frittatas, it’s easy to create a delicious food and wine combination when you start with this delicious wine. A balmy, al fresco dining environment is not required, but highly encouraged. Enjoy!
