Judd's Hill 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 3 Liter Etched Bottle

As in their previous Cabernet vintages, Judd's Hill have balanced their new-world fruit with old-world wine making, using mostly neutral French oak barrels and minimal oxygenation.  This 2007 Napa Cabernet opens with aromas of currant, blackberries, anise and a hint of clove.  Flavors of dark berries, baking spices and cocoa fill out the mid-palate.  After savoring this wine for a few seconds, dusty mocha notes evolve into flavors reminiscent of Café Mocha as the wine’s lingering finish stretches on. 

The opulent dark fruit, heady baking spice and cocoa components of this wine make it a wonderful accompaniment to a flavorful and robust beef dish.
