We've Already Written Ten Chapters

Sparkling Iron Horse? Sounds like a great way to begin a sci-fi story. Or a celebration. But mostly a sci-fi story.

The year was 2199. The digital cowboy looked down upon the Pacific Complex that sprawled up the West Coast. The sunlight sparkled off the steel buildings, in the same way it glittered off his Iron Horse.

Naturally, this story has nothing at all to do with the 2007 Brut Rosé. And why? Because you already know everything there is to know about this Brut Rosé. Seriously, you do. It's fruity, almost creamy, one of the most vivid of the sparkling wines that Iron Horse offers. So what else could we say beyond that?

And, anyway, when you finally read our upcoming sci-fi novel, The Adventures Of DigiCow9, Warrior Of Galaxy West, you'll absolutely want to raise a toast to our genius. Should we give you a little more?

Down the hill, the digital cowboy lowered himself, his Iron Horse watching the radar beacon to make sure no V.O.L.E. fighters were nearby. Soon, the sun would be setting, and if they weren't inside the PacCom HQ before then, the nuclear vampires would descend...

Features

2007 Brut Rosé 750ml 2-Pack

The 2007 Brut Rosé is the most vivid and bold of the Iron Horse Sparklings, both in terms of flavor and color. Made mostly from Pinot Noir, the 2007 vintage is bright, full, quite dry with a soft, almost creamy mouthfeel. The gorgeous color comes from letting the Pinot Noir sit on the skins. This vintage is aged four plus years en tirage.

By nose; ripe red fruit, raspberry and dark cherry.
In the mouth; full and soft, a touch of strawberry, raspberry, dark cherry and lime.
Excellent as an aperitif, though still the perfect wine with steak, grilled lobster and pan fried rainbow trout.

Joy from Iron Horse wishes everyone a happy Easter and shares a favorite food pairing for this gorgeous sparkling Rosé.

Hand-harvested in the chill of early morning the Pinot Noir grapes are destemmed into stainless steel tanks where they are cold-soaked (using dry ice) for seven days. Steely Chardonnay is blended in to add a firm acid backbone. After pressing the juice slowly ferments in stainless steel tanks at 62° to 65° f retaining the bright fresh Pinot Noir fruit tones. The dosage for the 2007 Brut Rosé is a 22 ml of special Bland de Blancs Lex (a syrup made of 2 ml sugar and 20 ml pre-second fermentation Chardonnay).

At Iron Horse "Estate Bottled" means that the winemaking begins in the vineyard. Their location in Green Valley represents the very best soil, climate and aspects for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. What they call "precision winegrowing," all pruning, canopy management, irrigation and cover crop decisions are determined on a block-by-block (and sometimes even vine-by-vine) basis, considering both the vintage at hand and the long-term needs of the land.

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
