Hawks View Vineyard is known for producing exceptional fruit. The 2013 Pinot Gris was harvested September 27 – October 4, 2013. It was a long drawn out growing season with early fall weather that required expertise from the grower and winemaker to carefully craft the season. Hawks View’s three Pinot Gris blocks (grafted and self – rooted) were picked on three separate days and fermented individually, allowing for added complexity and acidity in the finished wine. This wine has aromas of apricot and dried mango, ushering in flavors of almond and honeysuckle.
