I understand you’re excited to see Mr. Franc here tonight, I really do. It’s not every day you get to meet one of Monterey County’s finest like this, especially one as popular as Mr. Hahn Estates 2007 Central Coast Cabernet Franc. You probably want to shake his hand in appreciation for his ability to weave together such flavors as clove, white pepper, cocoa, and bittersweet chocolate, or maybe give him a great big thumbs up for being so pleasant and light, not to mention low in tannins.

But you’ve gotta understand, that popularity also makes him a very busy man. It takes a lot of work to create such enjoyably lush and tart plum, black currant, and raspberry flavors mid-palate. He doesn’t get a lot of time to just sit down and enjoy some rich barbecue slathered ribs and fresh steamed carrots anymore, and when he does get the time, he doesn’t like to be bothered, see? That’s where I come in. I keep his adoring public at bay, he retains his smooth and focused demeanor, and everyone wins.

Look, I know you’re disappointed, but imagine how you’d feel if you were in Cabernet Franc’s shoes, huh? Tell you what, because I like you, how about I set you up with six bottles of his Hahn Estates 2007 Central Coast Cabernet Franc?
