Like the Pacific whose waves crash onto the wild central California coast, the Deep Sea Central Coast Rosé is primal. Pure. Natural. Exotic, yet somehow familiar.
Unlike the Pacific, it doesn't smell or taste like brine. It brings hints of raspberry, cherry, and orange on the nose, and a delicately building acidity on the palate.
That said, if you wanted to fill your pool with the Deep Sea Central Coast Rosé and splash around in it with your snorkel, we wouldn't think you were weird or anything. Unless you didn't invite us.

2012 Deep Sea "Sea Star" Rose, Central Coast 750ml 5-Pack
This 2012 Sea Star Rose is made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from the Conway Family's very own Rancho Arroyo Grande Vineyards as well as some Grenache from a couple of small select properties they admire. They’ve fallen in love with Grenache as a main part of their Rose’s and this one speaks volumes as to why.
This beautiful salmon colored Rose has a familiar nose of mild raspberry and cherry, along with a hint of Moro orange; 100% cold fermented in stainless steel, this wine makes a soft entry and then gradually shows its firm but subdued acidity. The wine’s balance stands out, along with seamless transitions throughout start to finish.
Conway Family Wines are big fans of the 2012 vintage, and this wonderful Rose is testimony to this vintage. Please enjoy this favorite with your wine loving friends.
