2007 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 750ml 2-Pack

The nose displays concentrated aromas of raspberry, black tea, vanilla and baked earth—sweet and inviting. The richness and bright berry promised in the nose continue onto the palate and through the finish. Flavors of raspberry combine those of cinnamon, toasted almonds, and other more elusive fruits and spices to provide a complete experience of Russian River/Green Valley pinot noir. Classic food pairings for pinot noir include salmon, duck, and wild mushrooms, but Southern fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans with bacon done well. 2007 was an excellent year for Green Valley pinot noir, and this wine is expected to age gracefully for up to a decade.

Warm and inviting aromas of raspberry, toast and almonds, on the palate, intense raspberry, rich and smooth.  Supple yet powerful, this wine can match the delicacy of poached salmon and the bite of mustard or radish. This wine is expected to age well for five to ten years.
