Open up to expression with Free Mind, a spectacular Zinfandel from selected from high-quality California vineyards. Free Mind was developed to represent an expression of openness to explore life to its fullest, and with the intent to try new things. The graphic artwork on the label was designed by Jordan Manning, part of the third generation of the winery’s founding family.
The Free Mind Zinfandel grapes are grown in the California cool coastal regions and the warm inland areas. These areas are blended together to make a richly- textured, multi-layered wine. The aromas are of ripe, dense black fruits and a hint of dried herbs. The flavors are complex and rich, sporting succulent blackberries, powdered cinnamon, cola and cherry jam. It ends with just a hint of black pepper in the long finish. The Free Mind will take you to new places.
Might we suggest paring the Free Mind Zinfandel with anything hot off the BBQ, we like it in the marinade as much as sipping it as we cook. It is also complements baby back ribs, a gourmet blue-cheese burger, or a hearty beef stew quite well, but really the sky is the limit.
