Gold Medal - San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
This wine has a floral nose with hints of star jasmine and citrus. Strong fruit flavors of fresh cut pineapple, kumquat, ruby red candied grapefruit and white peach nectar add to its complex palate. Finishes with refreshing, crisp acidity and a chiseled limestone minerality.
Pairing: Char-grilled swordfish with mango chutney.
Vintage: California’s 2013 vintage has been described by vintners and growers throughout the state as a premium quality and generous vintage. Following a warm and dry spring with near ideal conditions, harvest was remarkably smooth and wineries were working with very high quality wine grapes. Across the board, fruit showed great balance of acidity and sugar, good color and tannin structure and optimal flavor development. The wines of this vintage are bright and energetic, with detailed aromatics and lots of complexity.
Region: Grapes for this wine were drawn across some of the best growing areas for white grapes – including California’s Central Coast, the Sierra Foothills, and Lodi-Sacramento River Delta. Grapes from these areas experience warm days and cool nights, and ripen to full maturity with balanced flavors and crispness.

The Cunningham clan (Bruce & Kim) relocated to Novato California in 2004. Aussie born, these two have been intertwined with California’s wine industry for 20+ years. Our inaugural wine was bottled in 2006 under the Cambridge & Sunset label. These wines were made in honor of the folks who came to clean up a neighborhood and stayed to make a commitment to their community. We kept the grass-roots RNR movement (literally!) firmly in mind as we expanded our varieties, crafting an array of wines that people love to drink and share.
