2003 *%#&@! Red Rhone Blend 750ml

The most profoundly profane wine ever created, the horrendously heretical *%#&@! boldly rises again to legions of enraptured worshipers. It is deep and dark in color with aromas of plums, blueberry, raspberry and nutmeg. The flavors mirror the plum and raspberry aromas. Also, herbal characters combine with the fruit to add a sense of wild-game. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and intense. Hefty fruit flavors make this wine enjoyable for drinking now, as well as laying down to develop complexities over the next five years.

2005 *%#&@! Red Rhone Blend 750ml

The meaty and leathery characters and hints of Provençal herbs and spices might have you thinking this Rhône-style blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache just fell out of a “California Cheese” commercial. Well, the name is the only cheesy thing about it! Those bright fruit flavors of boysenberry and raspberry sure ain’t no bull! (Note: No animals were harmed in the writing of these tasting notes.)

2006 *%#&@! Red Rhone Blend 750ml

Much like the 2005 vintage bearing the same name, this wine is a Rhône-style blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache with touches of Provençal herbs and spices and meaty and leathery characters.  However, the bright fruit flavors feature (say that three times fast) blackberry and cherry.  Pairs and Rhymes with Duck. Also barbecued baby back ribs, and Szechuan foods.

2009 *%#&@! Red Rhone Blend 750ml

Following in the *%#&@! tradition, Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache are blended to make this Rhône-style wine.  You'll notice this blend, while meaty and displaying hints of Provençal herbs and spices like the previous vintages, has a peppery character.  Blueberry and cherry flavors makes this wine a nice companion with duck, barbecued baby back ribs, Szechuan foods, and momma’s meatloaf.
