Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Black currant, followed by fig, followed by strawberry. Can you tell I'm flat out of preserves?

In inverse and not complete order. Rinfrescante. Pepper Bridge. Saxon Brown. Monkey Prize. Vina Robles. Ty Caton Tytanium (always!). Roshambo. Polyphemus. Donati Family. Poizon. Montinore. Kent Rasumussen. Mumm Napa. Boss Monster. Iron Horse. Albino Rhino. White Zeppelin, Buttonwood Farm, 8-Bit, Ty Caton Racchus, Twas!

Grape jam spreads better than grape jelly. I prefer strawberry preserves over strawberry jam.

Apricot jam for me, with huckleberry a close second (though it's harder to find).

Too sweet.
I'd rather just have the fruit plain.

Mango. I used to live in West Palm Beach, FL and there was a big Mango tree in the yard. It produced the sweetest, tastiest mangoes I have ever encountered. It made really good jam.

Thanks to up-to-the-minute tracking, I don't track my package so much as stalk it.

Every year we go to U-pick down the road and make a jam that's approx half boysenberries and half loganberries. Boysenberries are a raspberry-blackberry cross that favors the blackberry. Loganberries are the same cross, but favors the raspberry. The jam is better than either one on it's own, and better than blackberry or raspberry.

Another vote for blackberry. Especially when home-made. So ridiculously good.

I love Boysenberries. My grandpa used to have a ton of them in his yard and my grandma would make pies and jam with them. Best ever.
