“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

I got this on a recent prior go-around, and consider it one of the best values I have purchased on wine.woot. Everyone I have shared it with has offered favorable comments, including some wine "snoots" (myself included). It won't blow you away, but for the price, you'll be VERY happy with this. GREAT QPR!

I have enough cab franc for the moment, so I'm going to have to let it pass (unless willpower breaks down during the course of the day), but if this comes up again in a few months, I'll be in for sure.

I just read through the CT reviews...

I see some comparisons to Toothstejn, which interests me. Someone said it is comparable, but this may have a bigger body to it.
Also, this boasts 15.2% alcohol... a few people on CT mentioned how well it hides it.

I'm definitely interested in this..... but I'm going to sleep on it... after wooting my brains out all day today.

Definitely bigger in the mouth than Toothy 2 (more and/or newer oak?). Very much on the fruit first and forward style but there was perhaps more than a hint of the vegetal side of CF there. This wouldn't be confused with a Chinon. I liked it, but didn't love it. I'm not a CF fan, though.

These comments exactly match my own experience and opinion regarding Coordinates. Like it, don't love it. Very glad I had it, but don't need more.

Speaking of toothy2, opened one last night making it the most expensive bottle I ever drank!

Cabernet Franc or Cabernet Sauvignon? Or both?
