Poll: It says "South Africa" on the label. What do you think?
  • 18% - If it's a Chardonnay, I'm on board. 110
  • 20.3% - If it's a Chenin Blanc, I'm on board. 124
  • 46.9% - I'll probably seek out an alternative vino experience. 287
  • 14.9% - Another sentiment that I'll discuss in the comments. 91

Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Tar, its always the first thing I think of. I remember my first experience with that flavor was in a SA cabernet sauvignon. It had a pretty big effect on me for some reason, in a very positive way, I loved it.

If it says "South Africa" I hope the red and white sections are not segregated.

Pinotage FTW!

+ 1, their Chardonnay is killer.

The Sadie Family also makes some lovely wines.

Absent any other information not much.

FWIW, I have had some very good wines from South Africa.

I'd try it. I love African coffees, so I'd be curious to try the wine.

"I'll probably seek out an alternative vino experience" is a prejudice, quantitatively different from apartheid, but not qualitatively. I'll try some.

And why is "delete message" not allowed, so that duplication can be avoided?
