TOP of the morning to everyone! Up at 6, and went to spin class. Amazing how much better I feel in the am when I exercise first thing...

It's a girl! We just had our ultrasound.

My body doesn't like a lot of movement first thing in the morning!

Sept. 23rd. I wanted another girl. I might be regretting my desire in 10 or 12 years, though.

Mazel Tov- You'll just need to move to a state that still allows shotgun ownership at that point ;)

Just keep them close to home and learn to say "NO" at an early age.

First thing in the morning is the best time to exercise - I'm in the gym at 5:30 AM five days a week, and usually by 7:30 on Saturdays. Starts the day off right!

I started out on Burgundy but soon hit the harder stuff. Bob Dylan, Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues

How on earth did I get 7 QPs?

Best time to do it! In part, it's before others can screw up your day. I'm at the gym before 7 every day, and I'm the healthiest I've ever been.

Every day?
Generally it's the last post that's the earliest, and I did get up later than usual one morning to be treated to an espresso...

So ... will the Woot-Off begin on Sun/Mon again, or the usual Mon/Tues?

Also do it first thing in the morning. At the fitness center at 6 AM on work days. Once it warms up, we will do our bike rides early on the weekend. We let it warm up a little now. And by the summer, we get that early start to get our 50 miles in before it heats up too much.

Yeah, it starts the day off right.

Cell phones? Also go out during outages (since cell towers need power).

Except they generally have great big generators attached to the cell towers... After Sandy, despite power being out for 10 days, they never lost cell service. Now, charging the cell phones, on the other hand... That took a car ride which used precious gas.

I saw HitAnyKey42 on wine.woot! and clicked "I want one!"

Get an inexpensive PV panel. I've got a couple of 12V low wattage units I use to keep UPS batteries charged when I'm totally off-grid.
