Poll: All right, I confess! I've sipped wine from ...
  • 9.5% - A paper cup 151
  • 27.5% - A plastic cup 436
  • 13.3% - A coffee mug 210
  • 45.2% - The bottle 716
  • 4.5% - Something I'll admit to in the comments. 71

Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

OK, I confess. I've sipped wine from a Libby's brand wine glass. Please don't hold it against me. We were at my sister's...

We can cellar 545 bottles here at home. This means we must quickly consume the other 436 bottles on hand...

All of the above. And sometimes each of them is appropriate, for example; Mad Dog is traditionally drunk from the bottle in a paper bag, in a dimly lit parking lot.

If it'll hold wine, I have drunk from it. Back in my college days, we weren't picky.

Yup. Bota bag, bought at a Pier 1. Late 1960's and 1970's rock & roll concerts. It was easy to bring in a bota bag filled with cheap wine.

Tried it with Southern Comfort once. Only once. Big mistake. Still can't stand the smell of it.

I always use the pretties wine glass I can find. Wine just tastes better from a thin, long stem glass

Various body parts that would have me expelled from this site if listed. And who hasn't had wine from a bota? And just a tip for you kiddies out there. For a nice cold drink of, let's say water, while driving through a desert, strap your bota to the front of the cars radiator grill. The air rushing past it will chill it perfectly. You guessed it, same premise as your radiator.

Hello Wine friend, we stopped doing weekday-daily wine polls because we were running out of things to ask about wine and were getting called out for repeats (understandably). If there's something you would like to see asked on Wine, we would be happy to utilize that on a poll (you can even email me at lamentations@woot.com!), but it's pretty doubtful that we will be able to come up with some solid poll questions for Wine M-F.

But maybe this is a good thing to talk about? Are there other subjects in Wine polls we should be asking about?
