Question for all you Creminelli lovers... I unwrapped mine and instead of the dry white coating, mine are brown, slimy and smell beyond horrible.... am I guessing correctly that mine are bad?

Seems I recall discussions on this series here before, but I'm too cheap to pay for premiums.
Do I want to DVR these?

For those with Dish, and no HBO/Cinemax subscription, score.
Starting noon today all episodes beginning with #1 airing sequentially for free in the 4/4~4/7 preview weekend.

Yes, record! Awesome show.

When did you get them and how did you store them?
Mine generally just get hard as they age, never had one, yet, turn to slime.
All the same?

+1 on all but the reading. Chose to go walk around the local Spring Arts Festival instead. Georgeous day to be outside.

Beautiful day here in CT. Got the training ride in.

And Go UConn. Men and women. Can they repeat on the double national championships? What a fun run. The women have been strong all season and were expected to be here. But the men. Wow. They keep surprising. Now for a tough KY team on Monday night.

Should be fine...just peel off the skin as you normally would and go from there. Or leave them in the fridge for a day without a wrapper and they will dry out just fine. Unlikely that there's anything actually wrong with them.

2014: 28 bottles. Last wine.woot: Scott Harvey Red Re-Mix
2013: 66 bottles, 2012: 91 bottles, 2011: 92 bottles, 2010: 74 bottles, 2009: 30 bottles, 2008: 3 bottles My CT

I've never seen 'em go slime tho, and why would they stink?
I did lose track of one once and it got much darker, and harder, just under the skin. Ate them anyway, just chewed a bit more.

They stink to begin with, its the culture on the outside of the skin... I would think the moisture, which caused this to turn slimy, would exacerbate the odor. I agree with Klez, likely fine as long as the skin was on it. Dry it back out and dig in.

Don't you hate when people post in the old Pub and are too lazy to cross-post into the new one?
