I originally put a note on Neil's thread about cycling, hijacking that thread. Deleted that, thought I'd just put it here. Neil, if this is inappropriate and needs to be moved or removed let me know, but I did get some positive feedback already and thought I'd roll with it and get this out here.

My daughter is biking, as in bicycle, from New York City to San Francisco this summer. Proceeds to cancer. A junior at the University of Illinois this year, she chose this over an internship. She didn't get the bicycling from me, that's for sure, so I'm thinking this is harder work than the internship right?

Wow, NY to SF! That's a serious ride! And for a great cause... Cancer sucks. Modest donation sent, and hat's off to your daughter!

Ok, shameless bump to the top, but just this one time.

As a chemical engineering major one of her group projects chosen this semester was to make wine. So I guess the apple is not falling far from the tree. Anyway, I thought that made it wine related, so bumpity bump!
