“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

Although plainly this wine's reputation needs no bolstering out here, here are the comments from a previous offering.

Five bucks more now, plus tax added for my home state, means this is now closer to 22 bucks a bottle as opposed to the 18 or so it once was. Still, it's quite the deal compared to prices which were (at least during the previous Woot offering) being quoted at the winery.

Enjoy.

Why can't this be shipped to Virginia? Ty Caton holds a valid license from what I see: http://www.abc.virginia.gov/licenseesearch/retail_search_list.do?licenseId=46609

The Lang offering was too early in the day, but did get to buy this. Very good wine. Have had a lot of this in the recent past.

Wine.Woot is currently not able to offer wine deals in certain states, but will be opening up additional states as laws and regulations regarding selling wine online continue to evolve.

You're welcome to also check out this thread to discuss and talk about current Wine Shipping Laws
