“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

This is one of those love it or hate it products....and I hated it. Over seasoned and over sweetened.

If this didn't contain the Teriyaki pork, I'd go for it. That variety is overly sweet, almost like candied jerky. I'd even consider buying it if there were fewer packs of the Teriyaki pork, but three of them? No, thank you.

The rest of the flavors are very, very good.

Not understanding what meat jerkey has to do with wine?

I got to sample some of these last year at the Trail Days festival in Damascus and thought they were ok. Nothing spectacular, imo.

I didn't hate it but I definitely won't buy it again.

I just bought some of this at the grocery store for the first time 3 days ago. I bought the Black Cherry - delicious and the one with basil - meh. If I remember correctly it was either $3.99 or $4.99 a bag. Either way, this is a great price if you like it. If this were all the cherry and pork teriyaki, I'd buy it.

I really don't understand how people can eat this crap.

It's overspiced to the point of being inedible - and this is coming from someone who enjoys extra-spicy Szechuan and Thai cuisine. Krave jerky is inedible. The only bag I managed to finish was the Sweet Chipotle, and that was so sugary, sticky, and gross that it literally made me ill.

agreed with all above, only buy this if you enjoy dipping your jerky in sugar and melted jolly ranchers...

It's all in the pairing. My vote is for Bourgeois Pig Pinot Noir, a "snobbishly fine wine".
