“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

When was this bottled?
Just trying to figure out the 10 year mark for this wine.

"Rich, full, fruit forward-dark berry on the nose and palate; hints of tobacco and long chocolate finish. Will taste great in 10 years, but ready to drink now."

The description says it's a 2006.

Vintage date is usually not the bottling year ... at least not with any Cabernet I would drink.

Can the winery give us the acid numbers and discuss how with almost 16% alcohol, they think this is wine will hold up for another 10 years? That number right there screams fruit bomb to me

My problem is that I've never had a Cab that I hated. Some I love more than others, but I'll drink them all. I always have a hard time passing these up.
