“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

I got this in a previous woot off (I think - maybe it was a regular offer). In any case, I've been underwhelmed thus far. I opened one bottle with dinner and couldn't find a good pairing with the particular menu we had that day. I thought then that maybe it would work better as just a sipping wine, not to be paired with food. But since then I haven't tried another bottle because when it comes time to select a bottle to open, I have other wines I'd rather open.

Sorry I don't have better tasting notes.

Was offered as a "black tie" two pack for $59.99 and as a four pack for $99.99 before.

How does it compare to the Expression 44 (Roserock)?

I checked my order history. When I got it, it was $76.99 for 4, during the Feb 19 Woot-off.

Yup. About the same price this time, considering the separate tax now.

You are correct. I am much less inclined to make multiple purchases throughout the day since they can't be saved in the cart for a per cart $5 shipping fee. It would seem that perhaps they should consider returning to the $5 all day for Woot Offs . . .

the last time this was offered i bought it, not thinking twice about it. Opened up a bottle for some casual drinking (as we do often do in here in New Orleans), and all it took was one sip and i was in love. I have been searching everywhere for more Plush wine since, but with no luck. To wake up to this Woot Off felt like Christmas and I literally bought out Woot's stock. Hooray woot woot!
