“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

Thank you. Kudos. I don't drink wine normally (which is why I rarely comment here, except on the non-wine stuff), but I've had their non-wine sparkling juices and I like them. The southwest corner of Michigan puts out pretty good wines, from what I can tell (biased as I may be). By the way, Paw Paw is near Kalamazoo, along I-94, if you decide to drop in on their winery.

Seems like that CT listing should be for their regular Riesling. I found a listing for 2011 St. Julian Late Harvest Riesling here.

Bueller?

Has anyone tasted this?

I am usually a sucker for late harvest Rieslings (about ten year ago, the wife and I capped off one of the best dinners ever at a restaurant in Vancouver with a glass of late harvest Riesling, and well, you know, it stuck).

P.S. Anyone in SE Michigan want to split?

Great late harvest riesling, at a good price compared to getting it at the winery, but it is on sale today at Meijer for $9.99 a bottle.

Acidity stats, pH 3.2 which is good to counter the sugar, though TA is over 7. Is this a noble rot (Botrytis) late harvest? They are the ones I really like, as keen acidity and the taste of the botryts make for divine balance to the sugar.
