I save them up for a while then give them to a friend who makes cork boards out of them.

I save them in a little bucket, and use them as extra packing material when I'm sending items to my daughter. They're about the same weight as packing peanuts, and her cat loves them as cat toys. It's amazing how two or three a week will add up.
It takes months to find a customer, but only seconds to lose one.
The good news is that we should run out of them in no time.
