I think we need to agree to disagree on that. While it is a great movie, it is not the greatest movie of all time.

Created a thread to hold the Wine and Drinking cards that have been posted here before (and some that may not have been).

Feel free to add more Wine/Drinking cards to it!

Any suggestions on where to get a prepaid sim card here in the US? My daughter will be visiting from England and needs phone while here. $25 for s month of 250 minutes from ATT is best I've found.

How about just using a prepaid phone? Not sure her contacts will transfer, since most (some?) will still be on her old SIM card.

I understand the time-consuming side which is why I try to keep my inquiries and answers short.

I also attempt to leave my ego at the door when I enter that thread lest it take a beating.

I find a good ego thrashing to be soul cleansing. Reminds me I'm not the god others hold me out to be. Those others reside in a mental facility, but who am I to judge? Oh right, I'm their god, I'm SUPPOSED to judge.

Thanks. Some different info than googling sim cards, but mostly more expensive. I think that the $25 option from AT&T for a month is the best approach.

The best part of waking up is Bowtie in the Pub.

Try to read that without a jingle playing in your head.

I spent the better part of 2 years posting to the Politics forum on amazon on a daily basis. It does get tiring, especially when you realize that for all your time, effort and thought, the only thing you've really managed to do is preach to the choir. I could count on one hand the number of times I saw anyone change their views and still have most of my fingers left.

I have purposely steered clear here although I've lurked a little from time to time. I'd rather focus on the wine.

Fair point. And I usually say that she is coming home for a week.

Her legal residence remains here in the States. But she is over for about three years, etc. And for this issue, she has her phone service set up in the UK. So the short trip back home is a "visit".
