Were new or used barrels used on this wine.

I wasn't, but figured it was still worth asking. I reward wineries that take time to answer very simply questions. If they aren't going to show up then ill pass and hold my cash for a winery that is willing to spend some time here.

I'm eternally grateful for the yeoman work Cesare does for this site. So please don't get me wrong when I wish he would consistently put the number of bottles in Arabic numerals (e,g, 12) for each wine he lists in his intro posting. That way I don't have to hunt around for a word like "case" or worse yet, make a perhaps erroneous assumption that a 4-bottle offering of two wines will result in my getting two of each. Thanks for listening. And a big round of applause for Cesare! Who made the salad? Cesare made the salad! ('course he's too young to remember that commercial :-))

Bought this last time. The description is accurate. Personally, I would have liked more oak. At $8.75/bottle its worth buying.

I would call it fair price especially considering it's delivered to your door. Locally, wines at this price and even pricier are inferior to this stuff. I split mine with someone and wish I would have held on to it.

The Cab was good, but I can save 30% at my local Ralph's market. I'm a LOT more selective in 2013 on what I buy here.
