I purchased one last time it was offered, I have to say I prefer it to my other wine openers. It is sturdy, portable, the double hinge really works well, and the design looks nicer in person.

I liked the corkscrew well enough (got some last year as early christmas gifts) but the ones that showed up here had scuffed windows on the presentation boxes and generally looked a bit shabby. Not worth exchanging for, but enough to make me hesitant to give as a gift, ya know?

Mine had a big, deep scratch in the middle of the ebony wood.
