Given all of the sub-categories that Woot! now has (tech, sport, shirt etc.) this seems like the wrong place to put supplement tablets. Its not even close to wine/gourmet food related... Like... at all.

Yes, this product is a pre-emptive hangover preventer. As in you take it before you go drinking.

Save money and just take an ibuprofen, some B12, B6, C, (or multiviatamin) before you pass out and you'll be fine. Also, don't do shots of tequila after white russians. Don't ask how I know this...

I Thought I'd get some beauty sleep to answer some questions tomorrow. Didn't expect so many monster avatars awake this late!

Yeah, I bought these things last time they came up. Was I scared of the fact a Swiss company named "Novelty pharma" made them? You're damn right I was. But I study taurine and want to ingest it, without all the other caffeine and garbage in energy drinks. So short of taking the lab grade stuff off my lab shelf and dumping it in everything I drink, I thought I'd try these out.

My friend and I each took one after a heavy night of drinking. Did it taste like every other "orange-y" looking pill? You bet. Was it hard to drink a whole glass of that effervescence? Yup. Did it help get rid of our hangover symptoms? More research is needed. I took a lot of other things that morning...the party was crazy. But I did feel better that afternoon. So I can confidently say it won't make your hangover worse.

It's surprisingly hard to convince people to try and drink one of these things with me...

You're so darn right about water quantity: the Fast&Up tablet tastes best in 3 to 6 oz of water. A whole 12oz bottle is too much for example and does water down the taste.

anecdote yes: while driving home today I ran out of gas like an Milton right in the middle of an intersection (with everyone honking at me with disdain of course). That's what you get for thinking you know your gas needle so well!
Since I wasn't ready for my "Mr Universe" contest yet, 2 nice guys helped me push it out of the way.

Taurine and creatine act like speed in my body, so I have to stay away from this. Glad I went to their website and saw that! I don't like heart palpitations...

I did read the specs, but must ask nevertheless, to be sure. Alka-Seltzer and other similar products contain aspirin, so the "cure all" is actually a killer for a serious aspirin allergic people (like me).

Well, to the obvious now question:
Is this a 100% aspirin free?

no pb, quick answer: there's no aspirin, the focus is on amino acids(not the other acids people use to help them dance better)& vitamins. it's a nourishing supplement not a medication.

I'm gonna go try & catch my illusionary beauty sleep now!

Well as long as its not like that crappy water or milk or any of those other "dead liquids sitting on a shelf" im in. From now on im drinking this and only this and no more dead liquids!!!

Disapointed that this is what we get from Wine.woot these days.

Yes, you'll want to slow it down considerably, otherwise your enhancement pill was just a waste of everyone's time.

My buddy takes these things religiously, both for workouts as well as hangovers. He swears by them. I've tried them a few times but it's usually in conjunction with a bloody mary or a mimosa so I can't say for sure if it actually helped. Not saying positive or negative about this product, but very few things in life make you feel better than a placebo you believe in. If you believe these will help you, then I'll bet you they really will!

if you are looking for a good hangover "cure-all" Drink a large glass of pedialyte before bed along with a couple non-asprins... works like a charm, every time ! (and asprin free !)

You take this before you go drinking? I thought it was a morning after remedy. I guess if you drink it early enough it won't keep you up, but taking it at bedtime would be a very bad idea.

I bought this last time and it seems to help taken the morning after. I second the advice to make sure you put it in a small (4 oz ish) amount of very cold water. It tastes fine that way and you have less to drink.

I give this a solid yet unenthusiastic thumbs up. It seems to work. It won't hurt and if feeling better with a hangover isn't worth a dollar to you, we're too different to help each other.
