I'm offering up tytyger58's house for the next SoCal gathering. He has some aged Ridge zins he wants to taste/share so that's our focus. All other wines are, of course, welcomed (except aged white zin -- I will kick your ass out). tyger (realistically, his lovely wife) will handle the food. Depending on what it is, we may all need to bring a $5 bill, which I think we can all manage, especially since tyger is also providing the centerpieces for our tasting.

Any objections to March 23rd? Wives are definitely allowed. Generally, they're WAY better than us.

Found a 1999 Alderbrook Zinfandel OVOC I could drag up.

Any Saturday in March will work for us. Wife's are a plus!

There's a small chance molarchae and I will be around March 23. That's the weekend before my birthday and we'll most likely be in the Bay Area.
Late Feb/early March is better. Otherwise after Passover (although during Passover would be fine so long as there's some passingly kosher-ish food).

We can do kosher.

In general, I'm only blacked out for the third Saturday of the month, each month.

Aged Zins? Will have to see what I can find in th cellar.

That's cool...but only necessary during Passover for my own particular set of observances And I wouldn't want you to go out of your way. I could easily bring matza and cheese, which would go well with wine.

March 23 works for us (for now). It just sounds so far away. Passover time would be more iffy for various reasons.

I can do either weekend in march. The 23rd has a potential conflict but depends on timing of the other event.

So long as molarchae agrees, the weekend of March 2 would work well. It's right before her birthday, but I'm pretty sure we will actually be in town.

The first two weekends in march are bad for me but am clear the rest of the month. If people are overwhelming available during the first couple weekends then please just plan it and ill catch you all for the next one.

Yes, we do. At least in theory. I'm waiting on the details and date for my nephew's first birthday party. It'll be either March 9 or 16, but up in the great white north. March 23 is currently slated for travel and the weekend after is Passover, but as mentioned before I'm fine with that...I'll just bring matza

Outstanding, March 30th it is? I have a Ridge 81 Fiddletown, 95 Pagani Ranch and a 97 Geyserville. If you don't have any older Zins no problems there should be plenty of wine, bring any zin

Need suggestions for what to (not) bring for eats.

We will have to play it by ear, with it being the holiday week. Either way, we'd basically bring our own food with us if we make it (since I'm pretty strict that week). Sounds like it works for most everyone else though!
