A small, unassuming blob monster attaches itself to the front door of City Hall.

The Flaming Flame gently pokes it with a stick.

The monsters trail was flammable, now everything it touched is in flames.

The fire trucks role in.

While the screaming, burned firemen run about, and the fire chief is distracted, the flaming goo blob begins to wander off toward the nearby park.


The fire chief claps a hand to his forehead. Of course! He grabs a keyfob from his pocket and points it at the largest engine.

It beeps twice. Then, the enflamed truck begins to fold over itself, changing from vehicle to mech. "FIRE SQUADRON 1, COMPLETE. COMMENCING FIRE ANALYSIS," commands the truck.

1 minute later, the truck booms "FIRE ANALYSIS COMPLETE. FIRE IS THE RAPID OXIDATION OF A MATERIAL IN THE TO EXOTHERMIC CHEMICAL PROCESS OF COMBUSTION." and folds itself into a small fondue pot.

The fire chief calls for a neighboring response team to assist.

The neighboring response team shows up with marshmallows and graham crackers instead of hoses and fire extinguishers.

In the meantime, the goo ball is starting to make a nest in the middle of the park, creating a smoldering wildfire.

The Flaming Flame, WHO HAS BEEN WATCHING THE WHOLE AFFAIR WITH COMPLETE DISMAY, finally panics and calls his arch-Frien-emy, "Aqua Marine".

Aqua Marine shows up and is enchanted by the goo ball. He decides to protect the goo ball and floods the area around the park so no one can approach and hurt the flaming goo ball. As the flood runs down the neighboring streets headed towards downtown.
