“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

Just opened my first bottle of this last night from a previous woot. Boyfriend and I agreed it was a fantastic buy and I actually said "I hope it comes up again, this is great for the price".

Thanks, woot!

way too much vanilla for my palet, but gets good reviews everytime it's offered.

First cab you were not a big fan of?

Bought six of these the last time around. They are drinking nicely now. This is not a cab to age - insuffcient structure (acid, tannins). So it is pop, pour and drink it now.

At about $9/ bottle, this is a decent daily drinker kind of red, in my opinion. My wife (who does not like strong tannins and acid) likes it OK. I prefer reds with a bit more backbone. The fruit is there and decent enough, but not the greatest on the planet.

No aging needed to smooth out the tannins or balance things - drink this one soon it will not get better with age.

Regards,

Greg

Agree with this being a good every day Red, but I'll add it's a DARN GOOD every day Red. Cabs are my favorite, and I really like this Cab; especially at this price point.

I bought this wine the two previous woots it was offered, so I will have to pass this time as I'm all set for a while.

Buy it, you wont be disappointed. :-)

Any of the copas are great for the price for everyday wine. It is my "go to" wine for drinking and is inexpensive enough that I don't feel guilty cooking with it either. Love the copa!!!

Perhaps not, but thanks for giving us a reason to look at some tasty paletas!
