Any idea of the drinking window on this?

Effectively the same price as the offering in April. At about $14 shipped to your door, this is a good deal.

Scott is a great winemaker - all about the wine and the craft. His wines are always a treat.

This Zin is big and fat and round and smooth...and slighly sweet...not the tannic dry finish you find with some zins. So I call this my "party zin" - works well with grilled meats, burgers and such. Also good for folks who prefer fruit forward reds.

Regards,

Greg

I've gone through a couple of bottles since April - it is drinking well now - balanced and integrated. I think that is the way Scott intended it - pop, pour, drink now.

I am going to hold some and see how it evolves over the next year or so.

Regards,

Greg

Is CT in or out? It's listed with the ship to states but I get a message it can't be shipped there when I try to order.

I curse you woot!

There is no way I have space for this, but you find a soft spot in my defense system.

On the bright side I don't have to horde the 1 bottle I have left of this.

Ugh... In for 1.

It's great to be a Florida Gator!

We, or our palates, disagree on this one. I tried one of these in September and I think it needs some more time in the bottle to integrate. We may just have different tastes though.

As for how long you can cellar this, It should have no problem easily going another 3-5 years and probably much longer. I have some of the 07 which is just now really hitting its stride.

They have shipped to Maryland before. What's up?

I don't believe Scott currently has licenses for CT or Maryland and has stated before that he doesn't expect that to change any time soon. Too expensive and time consuming for him. If you call his tasting room and ask for Jana, they will typically try to make other shipping arrangements for you through various distributors. Good luck.

I prefer the peppery zins with a tannic finnish like so many Ive tried from the Paso region. Maybe this one's not for me ?

Interesting that NC is on the list now, when in a previous offering it wasn't. I know Scott ships to NC, but there was an issue shipping the InZin due to stick-in-the-mud legislators thinking the superhero label would appeal to kids.

This and Big Ol' Cataclysm's are the only two things my woot! Watcher is set to auto-buy. And I will continue to auto-buy InZINerator, without question, for as long as it is produced. This is by far one of my favorite wines for anytime sipping and sharing with friends.

In for one, but only one b/c I don't have room for more... :-(

Sorry I did not get on before it sold out. Drinking window is about 10 years, so I would say up through 2019.

I accelerated the demise of this woot by jumping in for three, with barely a thought about it. InZinerator is my all-time favorite, and I've been waiting with baited breath for it to appear again.
My Christmas will now be considerably merrier, thanks to SH and Woot!
