I still buy the $4 Balsamic from Trader Joes for dressings, etc, but I usually upgrade it with a little drizzle of this stuff.

My first time buying this was after people mentioned it as an ice cream topping. That just sounded too weird, but it IS good!

Also one of the few wine woots that does not cause storage issues....

It is vinegar so pretty much for ever I have some that is 50+ years old. Even with the younger stuff worst case some evaporates and makes the rest thicker and sweeter.

I don't know how you guys make this stuff last for a year, it's insanely, addictively good. It's true you only need a little bit but when you use it every day...

If they let me buy like 4, then I'd gift. This is the most excellent ice cream topper.

So glad this came up - my bottle was getting down to its bottom eighth... I could sip this stuff straight it is so good. My favorite use is drizzled over vanilla ice cream, yum!

Thankfully, my roommate and I still have a couple bottles of this... but I may still end up buying some for my friend as a wedding gift.

I actually have some 16 year aged balsamic that some relatives gifted me with when we had a family get-together this summer. My aunt, who is Italian and lives less than an hour from Modena, had *never* had real balsamic vinegar before I went over and visited them a couple years ago. I still think that's just weird. In any case, the 16 year balsamic is even better than this... but I doubt the cost/deliciousness ratio is as favorable.

I normally wouldn't but this has had some good reviews this time and last.

In for two. If I ruin it with bad use I can at least give a bottle to my aunt and know it will be used well.

Very good stuff....for many first-time buers it will change how you regard Balsamic.

This past summer I made strawberry and black pepper gelato and had this handy for my coworkers to drizzle over their gelato. They still ask when I'm going to do that again. Guess I'd better buy it up... sounds like it won't be around in the morning.

Now that i'm thinking about it, IIRC it was you who sent me a bottle of this to try in my early Woot days..it's been a long and EXPENSIVE journey ever since!
