Either gilmore1951 or toadylama in TN really likes this.

Our Sapphire Hill Pinot is classic Russian River Valley with bright cherries on the front and lush blackberries and a velvet vanilla finish. Aged in French Oak for 15 months. Magnums are always a party favorite!

Hey Chris, up late.

Mags, the always question, how long can this lay down, properly kept?

Thanks for chiming in.

It would have been awesome to offer this a month ago.

We recommend vintage date plus. 5 as the optimal time to drink our Pinot Magnums. But the 2010 is really tasting nice now -we bottled unfiltered and that allows more flavors and the wine shows better earlier. Overall you can age this wine 15 years but it is not necessary.

At our winery we pair the Pinot with Mushroom soup or fig with carmelized onion and goat cheese.

At home we pair with all things pork and turkey
