Well, the idea of utilizing alcohol in worship was originally a pagan act of consuming the essence of a deity after the booze was offered. The deity took energy from the alcohol and then replaced it with his/her/it's own essence, which was then made part of the worshiper. Better stuff holds more energy which translates to better connections.

If you're going to perform the eucharist, you had better understand it WINNER!

Why doesn't he just give up? Perhaps more importantly, why do we keep trying to get him to see the light? He couldn't be bothered responding to my sincere offer to forward an email from a site that has regular, and BTW very interesting, beer offers.
