Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Cellar temp. Room temp is way too hot in texas.

Room temp of a castle, 56 degrees, not the 75 most keep their houses at. 30 mins in fridge takes that edge off with out chilling too much

20 minute rule. 20 minutes in the fridge before opening. whites 20 minutes out of the fridge before opening.

Depends on the wine.

They live at 57degF.

Most of my reds are consumed at or a bit above that temp.

Whites first live in the fridge for a while.

Same for some reds, though for a lesser time.

Occasionally, wines move to the freezer for a short stay.

We know you don't. If you haven't already discovered it, Let'sPour has an occasional beer offer. Worth looking at. They no longer offer any reward for referrals, but I'd be happy to forward their latest email, if you'll PM me an email address.

Dry reds I like room temp, sweet reds I like slightly chilled.

Yeah I'm with you, 75 is gross. I keep my house at 60 or below when possible (no AC).

Yeah, but that didn't work, so I thought I'd make a sincere play to his real interest.

I live in South Florida, room temp with the a/c on is 78 at best. So I stick with Chardonnay or throw a bottle of red in the fridge for about half an hour to try to achieve normal room temperature.
