It seems to me that enough of us have asked for time stamps to come back, and it can't be that difficult to do, since they haven't done it yet, they don't intend to put them up for current posts, FOR SOME UNKNOWN (AND PROBABLY STUPID) REASON.

I brought this up in the Troubles thread, and the response was basically "this is how the TwitterFacebookCommentUniverse works, so that's what we slavishly decided to use. 14.5%! That doesn't sound like a Bordeaux of old that they're trying to get back to...I would have though 12.5-13%. That said, I like Turley zins, and they can be pretty high alcohol, although they don't strike me as the fruit bomb zins.

So.... Back during the summer when CRAZY heat waves were racking the country I decided I would have all of my eas coast orders which ship out of New Jersey hold shipment until 10/30... Y'know.... So the weather would have a chance to calm down a bit......

I had originally told WTSO to ship my wine in October....had to change it to Nov. as it was still in the upper 80's here. They were very accommodating.

I laughed at the irony. But I am not as sensitive to the damage as I never went to the Jersey shore. Lots of people upset that a part of their childhood is gone now.

Not to be insensitive... but.... now maybe people have a clue of what we go thru down here with Hurricanes... It takes years for things to be rebuilt...but you don't here us complaining.....yes, things got destroyed, but they are just that, things..they can be rebuilt or replaced, lives can't

The alc is very well hidden. And this is not an over-oaked fruit bomb cab. However, it's nowhere near a BDX with the old world charm that you'd expect from the left bank. It's a very nice, restrained, CA cab. Worth the buy-in, IMO, if just to taste a couple.

From the notes they sent out, they're aiming at a style that was found in cali cabs before they got so big/made in a pre-parker style.

They've allocated me 2 cases; I won't buy all of that, but am debating buying 3 or 4 bottles; at $40 for something I haven't had.... I don't know. It's kind of a coin flip right now.
