It was already in the trash by the time I got home, so a couple of hours at 60 degrees. By then, I was sure.

Busy night last night. Friends without power were coming for dinner and to spend the night with power. As they were getting a change of clothes, their power came back. But already had picked up dinner so they came by. Son and fiance stopped up as well. Only for showers even though they don't have power. Warm enough this year to stay home without power.

What about your house? Wouldn't she be better off selling hers and moving in with you instead? Or is their house bigger/nicer than yours?

What would you do with your place? I know a Realtor in San Diego who buys awesome cookies.

Is your mom just lonely or does she actually need your assistance?

Has she looked into a community at all? Not a home, but one of those apartment complexes that only allow elderly residents and have a nurse on staff at all hours. My grandma lives in one of those, loves it. My wife's godmother does also, she totally came around as soon as she moved out of her son's and into her complex.

Buzz!~!. As duly appointed PSith PadawanS of HRH, I created the thread last year and cheron created it the year before.


The grumbling was having to create it before the official PSILY post.


And as for the two of you, as you noticed, you two were already added to the weekend thread. But due to computer problems (yes, ironic, I know!), you were left off the D&D list. Which has been rectified.

I tasted it this past weekend. It's interesting. It's nothing like a big Napa cab, and that's kind of the point. They're trying to make it in the fashion of the pre-big-Napa-can movement. Alc. was 14.5%. $40/bottle wasn't screaming QPR, but it was rather enjoyable. We didn't buy any of it, but did think about it.

Got my system working a lot better now, should have worked on it when it first started acting up. Then adding you two on the list wouldn't have slipped.

But I'm washing my hair. The whole month!

I am disappointed in my daughter. We only walked about three blocks on our Trick or Treat Quest. In past years we've filled her entire candy bag to the brim (no small feat). Shoulda made her take a nap after school. I knew I shoulda, but I didn't cause I didn't want to argue with her. Oh well, she had fun and got enough candy.
