Oh, parenthood. Emerson slept for 6 hours last night (10-4), but I woke up every 45 minutes or so panicked that something was wrong because she either didn't make any noise or she made a noise.

get used to that Potty Emergency!. I used to sleep through EVERYTHING. Now, EVERYTHING wakes me up.

Also, about the time she's six months old, she'll sleep through the night. It'll get easier.

After my dad died, my husband confessed that Dad had made a similar threat before we got married. I think the the words were "they will never find you."
