Ermergerd. After months of debate over where we should live, and expensive cross-country move from VA to NV, my husband keeps talking about Minnesota. Why? Because he reads John Stanford books which take place in Minnesota, and it would probably be fun to go fishing there. For the love of Pete...

I left Saint Paul 28 years ago, and still look forward to moving back at some point.

Otolith and a couple of others would be glad to tell you why you'd love MN.

It's a nice state I always enjoyed visiting (loved Saint Paul in particular!). Probably not the most helpful or detailed comment, but if I had to move there I probably wouldn't hate it.

I think what bowtie meant was that there are planes, in general, that he could fly to MN to visit. And, when he stays in said place, that he can stay in one of several lodges on one of our many lakes.

Because, if you move here, you not only have to buy a home to live in, you must also buy a lake place, too.
