Eh. Not entirely true. RS is only one of the factors in a wine's sweetness, or rather, our perception of the sweetness. Anything over 40g/l is generally considered pretty damn sweet, although wines can taste sweet at levels as low as 2g/l.

When i need a sweet white Wine I turn to trader joes. They have decent "sweet wines" for around 5 per. I hate sweet wines but need them on hand for mom, brother, mom inlaw and other non wine drinkers! I dont like popping noce wines for non wine drinkers who dont know the iffetence and actually enjpy the sweetness! I guess what i am trying to say is that 11 dollars for a sweet white that i can get or 5 is not tempting me.
