Invino has a huge listing of wines for the weekend. Does anything stand out that warrants a recommendation?

Someone (maybe iByron) was singing the praises of the Château Climens Sauternes a while ago. 66% off a probably somewhat inflated retail price.

If you like Riesling those JJ Prüm gold caps look to be a pretty good price for a serious wine.

Yeah, and the half bottles of 2006 Auslese for $10 seem like a steal as well. Must resist

I'm more intrigued by the Ribera 4-pack that is up right now as the main offering.

All of those retail prices look inflated, and the "sale prices" aren't much better than available locally.

WTSO is having some sort of interesting series of "pack" offerings. Picked up separate Spanish (94 point) and Italian (96 point) sets. Not J. Newman rated ;).

Simple three step process:

1) if only J. Newman rated - don't purchase.

2) if J. Newman rated in addition to an "acceptable" revwiwer - do some digging before purchasing.

3) if a J. Newman rating isn't used - then there is a high likelihood of purchase.

Did you buy? Seemed like a good price, but I'm drowning in Syrah.

$35 last time up on TSO. Damn, I'm such a sucker for ports; two more.
Wish there were more public comments.
Prager it's not..

Now I won't feel so guilty about pulling a cork.

Likewise, a close second to cab.

Mama:
don't know, as I really don't know your tastes, but with FS this does seem a good price point and is well below average CT pricing. Wish I knew more about ports, other than they seem do easily disappear here.

This same Cab was offered on Invino for $38 last time it was discussed here, so this seems like a good deal.
