Oh right, I think I remember now... Mr. K is the thing you buy and hold forever, which guarantees you a place in the inner circle of Wine Woot message board exaltedness, right? :-)

And also the thing that apparently grinds the sale to a halt...

Disappointed at the lack of info about the wines on LB. By the time I look them up in CT, they're already gone. Except for Mr. K who is only $10 off "yesterday's best web".

I just snagged the 2010 Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf-du-Pape magnum. But damn, you have to be fast! Got the adrenaline going! And by the time the sale was completed, the home page was on to something else. Also picked up a magnum of Calendal Cotes du Rhone 2008 earlier. Those are my two purchases for the day so far...

I bet both those wines (Bisou & Heitz) will make a return appearance before the day is out. And the Bisou sat there for what seemed like 20 minutes.

No, just my own pet project. I was really trying to get something that notified me of the wine deals when they happened and also automatically linked to some research and CT. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, It has languished.

But... it still is notifying of deals in realtime, so it is useful for things like Wootoffs and LastBottle marathons.

No Android version unfortunately.

What was the price on that rose? I still have 2 bottles of the 2007 that I got from LB 2 or so years ago and was an absolute steal at $5 a bottle. I would easily pay twice that though. Stuff was delicious (and still is).

That 2007 has been fading fast IMHO (let me qualify it to say I've been storing mine at room temp). A local store sells the more recent vintages I think at around $14, and they are always good.

Funny, server glitch when I got mine. Ordered 4, but delays I ordered four three times, got a case. Got an RMA from LB. Opened a couple bottles and decided to just drink them. I had them entered at $7.47 from that order.

On LB, got 4 bottles of 2007 Col Solare @ $40 ea. I had it a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Went down to The Cellar and noticed the 3 I have left are 2006. Hmmm. It's all good.

I've had a few Zins from the Dusi vineyard before, although not from this winery, but they were all good, as I'm sure this will be too. Yes try the Arrowhead, I though it was outstanding, hopefully it wasn't a fluke!
