Red/white mix because I love his whites (Outlier was FANTASTIC) and his blends are also spectacular.

If you didn't get the Woot offer the other day, I'd say the Red/White case, but if you bought the Woot offer, I'd say the Reds only case. I went in for both. It will probably be all I buy today.

*edited since i realized the offers were posted on here in the reverse order as i was looking at them*

Any Austinish folks who want to go in for some of the Tercero wines, just PM or email me. I bought both offers, so I've got more than enough to split.

Sojourn $50 off 4 bottles + free shipping. Their $39 Sonoma Coast (which is quite good although I've only had the 2010), should be 4 bottles for $106 after this deal shipping included.

I may be up for sharing the all reds Tercero case with someone in the LA area (but need to be really in the LA area since I have no room to hold an extra half case right now).

I was thinking something similar, but considering whether I really ought to be getting another half case

2014: 28 bottles. Last wine.woot: Scott Harvey Red Re-Mix
2013: 66 bottles, 2012: 91 bottles, 2011: 92 bottles, 2010: 74 bottles, 2009: 30 bottles, 2008: 3 bottles My CT

For Sojourn, I got:

2 2011 Sonoma Coast PN
1 2011 Sangiacomo Vineyard PN
1 2011 Gap's Crown PN

Tasting notes in CT look great for all 3 of these, and I've got 2010s to taste against in my cellar.

Total with shipping was $130.

Sojourn is tempting, but tyger and I are waiting to see the other 2 PN offers we're interested in (Patricia Green and Windy Oaks).

If we do grab Sojourn over the other two, I think we'll do:

2 2011 Sonoma Coast PN
2 2011 Sangiacomo Vineyard PN

One and one for each of us.

My budget says I'm done for the day, but I'm going to research the other two PN producers you mentioned.

That's why I'm staying away from the $30+ bottles, even though many seem like great deals. 2013 is supposed to be a wine drinking year for me, not buying

I seem to have the opposite strategy. 3 $40 bottles + PN (which will likely be $25-$40). I suck at this!

So we both just wait until it's too late and then say "damn" or say "saved some money and have enough already?"

That's what I went in for. On a pinot kick right now (picked up the Expression offer from their website the other day).

Just can't seem to convince myself to pull the trigger on the Tercero. I saw the buzz when offered on Woot - but didn't pull the trigger then either.

Want to go in on the Sojourn (1 of Sangiacomo for each of us and 1 of the Sonoma Coast for each of us)??

And am in on the Jean Edwards cab - 1 of each cab.

I just hate buying 1 bottle, whenever it comes time to open it - I wish I had another.

edit: went with an extra of the Howell Mtn - knew I'd regret it if I didn't.

We would, but Klez disappeared (even tried his cell). On the fence though, since after adding in CA tax it would average out to $35/bottle on the 4. I understand it's a nice savings off retail pricing and shipping, but still.

Excellent. That means I owe tyger $70 - the difference from the $130 he owes me after he bought us the Jean Edwards.

We need a wine-trade calculator.

Excellent QPR from Costco at 9.99 a bottle.

Interesting, guess I don't really know what a Tempe should drink like yet. Got a couple as well and notes on the one I drank were neutral, thinking it seemed what a $10 bottle should drink like. Perhaps I need to revisit this with a different attitude.
