LOVE LOVE LOVE Kendric's PNs. Just put an order for 6 in last week, though. I'll probably pull the trigger on Rhys, Big Basin, Windy Oaks, and possibly Maybach or Sojourn...or Anderson's Conn Valley...or Cabot...or Tercero...or...

It's BerserkerDay, sunday Jan 27. It's a day of special offers to commemorate the founding of the winberserkers.com forum. You can find out a little more by clicking here.

Throughout the day, various offers (mostly direct from the wineries) will be posted on a special forum at wineberskers.com. For most of the offers, you don't have to be a registered member to purchase. Some will only be available, however, for people posting in the thread or sending PMs to the winemaker. Some offers are time/quantity limited, there are some auctions posted (bid by responding in the thread), but it's mostly just a day of watching offers roll in and money roll out. Much more fun, though, than the typical lastbottle/wtso/etc marathons.

Here's an example of some of the deals. Last year, AO offered 30% off their newly released '09s PLUS a complimentary single vineyard tasting for 4 at the winery. Kendric offered 1/3 off his '08 Pinot Noir. Some folks offered sampler packs with hefty discounts. Ever since last year, I've been trying to limit my wine buying in order to save up for this.

BTW, if you're at all geeky about wine, I highly recommend joining the wineberserkers community.

Has anyone tried the 10 TC PS? Seems like a good price...if it's good juice. Feedback? Wasn't 2010 a tough year for grapes in Sonoma/Napa?

Cabot looks really intriguing. I confess I am not familiar with them, but I love a lot of that hyper-northern california stuff. Excited to see the offer.

Yes! The Humboldt Syrah is fantastic also like very much the Kimperly's. And the new Pinot's are getting so rave reviews although I have not tried them YET.

Anybody want to make a pickup at bestwinesonline? They're in Santa Ana. A little far for me, but the shipping kind of kills the deals.

You might want to check out Bailiwick. I hadn't heard of them before, but they make a Marin county PN that sources Kendric fruit. The '09 is a blend of Kendric and Chileno Valley fruit and the '10 is 100% Kendric. Just picked up the 6-pack of '09/'10 pinot.

If you like syrah dont miss the Halcon Alturas deal it is the best one of the day. It is a crazy QPR and excellent juice. You cant beat the case deal 20 per bottle and shipped free. Copain has been sourcing these grapes for their wines for a few years now. Here are the cellar tracker notes.

Mobile site not so user friendly...

Thx

Anyone have a list of what is actually being offered (more than winery names)? Trying to see if I can plan.

I trust you woot guys thoughts and feedback - where's best place for listening in to discussion of the offerings?

Berserker Day Threads.

Must buys: Halcon, Virage, Jean Edwards, Tercero...

All I'm buying is a PN offer (on top of the Jean Edwards tyger made me buy ).

Each offer has it's own discussion thread.

Buttonwood is up. I know there are some fans 'round these parts.

Thx. That's what I'm looking at.

I sorted it by Toods name to try and see when a new offer comes up. I really need to figure out Twitter to see if you get an alert for each new one.

I'm registered but didn't see Button wood. Edit: I see it - duh

Waiting for Windy Oaks and/or Patricia Green. And maybe Larry (Tercero). Brony. I shouldn't even be looking...
