IIRC last time they kept hauling away the bottles, so you kind of had an idea when it would end....but then again, last time they had a few...ah hem....technical difficulties

True, but considering all the rest of the vintages have similar notes, and they all look to be great, I think we did OK. It'll be fun to try.

PS - I've had great luck with French wines from LB....I hope that streak continues I'd love to get another nicely aged Burgundy from them.

I now have 3 of my orders which have either been canceled or dissapeared. They canceled the moon mountain 02 and my two freebies dissapeared.

That sucks. Did they send you a cancellation email or did they just vanish from your orders list on their website?

The last time LB had a blowout sale, three of the bottles I ordered they didn't have, and one order of four bottles only shipped with one. They were good about crediting my $ back, and also kicked in a bunch of free bottles....so I cannot really complain, although the bottles that they oversold all turned out to be the really good ones I was looking forward to.

Any thought on the Giulin Accornero Barbera del Monferrato 2006?

looking back at my purchases, I wish I had picked up a few more of the Hobbs Viognier Single Vineyard (Sweet) 2004... would have been to good to have on hand for thanksgiving for family members who like sweet wines......

I have extra bottles of the Summerland late Harvest Viognier. You can take back a bottle or two next week. Wait - didn't you share last year that you had a a million people over for Thanksgiving?! I don't think 2 375 ml bottles will be enough, but it's a start!

ha ha... yup, we had a bunch over for turkey day... I only share the "good stuff" with a select few... those who can appreciate it.....thanks for your offer... I will have to add up what I just spent before I say yes....

Cheapie Tallulah 2007 Oregon Syrah up on WTSO for 13.99 each. I'm a fan of Tallulah's Napa stuff, but I've never tried their Oregon wines. I think this has been on Woot prior for more though.

Finally....scored a nice bottle of Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Boudots 2004.

ha ha.....I've done that before...but it was reading a book....couldn't figure out why I was soo tired...Started the book at about 9pm and finished it at 6am..I ended up leaving a note for the family not to disturb me when they woke up!!!!
