There are only a few posts left in the last thread before it rolls over to 100 pages which is reportedly a bad thing so here is a new thread for everyone.

For reference, the old thread is Here

Rags: 3+2+3
Drunk: 69+94+15 wine, 20+29+4 non-wine

Yeah, it went quickly. But the price was $30 and Wine Market Journal currently values that bottle at $29. I just bought some from VinConnect.

I don't even know if I'd want to taste this one... at $375 retail it could be dangerous.

Heck, Anniversary dinner, and 2 Loge tickets to Les Mis a week or two ago cost less than that bottle of wine!

Not sure if it's any good but I just bought the aged riesling: Karthauserhof Eitelsbacher Karthauserhofberg Riesling Spatlese 2004. I had a $20 credit so it was free and worth a try.

Wine searcher has for half the price...so only $140 each.

EDIT: That was for only one bottle and this is a magnum. Sorry, same price as you indicated.

I'd go in on the Verite Le Desir 2007, but Parker says it should cellar for 35-40 years. I don't have enough sand in the hourglass for that one. Of course, the price, $299, might have also been a factor.

Total flyer for me, but at ~60% CT value for a 750 aged dessert wine, seems worth the gamble, sure can't afford these three and four digit offerings.
