Different chips need different scanners.

That is just dumb. Defeats the entire purpose.
Especially the shelters not always having scanners. They should all have every scanner! That is what the chip is for.

Feeling mostly human today. Even trying solid food. It's not too horrible I guess.

Being the bad aunt and not sending the birthday gift on time, because we've spent almost the whole month sick with something.... So it never got mailed. Birthday is Sunday, should get it mailed tomorrow.
